The folks from Berkley University, California have developed a web application that will not only help you diagnose your connection performance but also analyzes all aspects of your connection, including accessible ports, HTTP caching behavior and DNS settings, and provides you with a detailed report of its findings. The web app is called Netalyzr and is not only a debugging tool — it is also the foundation of a comprehensive measurement study compiling a survey of the health of the Internet’s edge.
