For Windows 7:
If you want to use your HP DeskJet 825c on a Windows 7 then all you have to do is:
1. plug your printer usb in your pc
2. Start Menu / Devices and Printers / Add printer tab
3. Select Local Printer and then the usb port
4. When promped for drivers just click on Windows update
5. When the list refreshes(might take few minutes) select HP Deskjet 830C/832C
You can also just try installing the xp printer drivers in XP Comparability mode but in order to do that:
1. Uninstall your printer software/drivers
2. Right click the driver executable file
select Properties and select the Compatibility tab
3. Click the checkbox before Run this program in Compatibility mode for option 4. Select Windows XP in the list-down box
5. Click OK
6. Just run/execute the printer driver executable file that you just edited
