The first ever dual boot tablet was announced today by ViewSonic. It will run Windows 7 Home and Android 1.6 Operating Systems. The tablet will have a10 inch LED screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600, it will run on an Intel Atom N455 1.66Ghz processor with 1GB of DDR3 RAM, and will have a 16GB SSD. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a G-sensor, A-GPS, two USB ports, a miniVGA and microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and a builtin 1.3MP webcam.<\/p>\n

The combination of operating systems means that users have the speed and portability of an Android-based OS without sacrificing the power and compatibility of a Windows powered system.
