Go to Tools -&gt; Options<br \/>\n2. Under Preferences Tab click on E-mail Options&#8230; under E-mail area<br \/>\n3. In E-mail Options click on Advanced E-mail Options&#8230;<br \/>\n4. Locate the &#8220;When new items arrive in my Inbox&#8221; area and underneath you can check\/uncheck the 4 Notification options (i.e. Play Sound, Briefly change the mouse cursor, Show an envelope icon in the notification area, Display a New Mail Desktop Alert)<br \/>\n5. Click OK 3 Times once you have made the desired changes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disable Calendar Notifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Method 1:<br \/>\n1. Go to Tools -&gt; Options<br \/>\n2. Under Preferences Tab find the Calendar section<br \/>\n3. Uncheck Default reminder box<br \/>\n4. Click OK<\/p>\n<p>If the above(Method 1) did not work for you follow the below Method 2.<\/p>\n<p>Method 2(ONLY if Method 1 failed:<br \/>\n1. Go to Tools -&gt; Options<br \/>\n2. Click the Other tab, and then click Advanced Options under General<br \/>\n3. Towards the bottom of the Advance Options window click Reminder Options<br \/>\n4. Clear the Display the reminder check box<br \/>\n5. Click OK 3 Times once you have made the desired changes<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Disable Email Notifications: 1.
